!Scripts for MultiBoot Version 3.0 Set up a MultiBoot script for your motherboard. You can create and execute a script file to automatically configure, boot, and install different OS in a single PC. First, you need to download the script source code. After downloading, extract it using WinZip or some other ZIP utility. I recommend WinZip. Run the script and you'll see a screen like the one shown in Figure 1. Click Next to execute the script. The screen will display a setup dialog, which contains all the settings you need to configure. Some of these settings are shown in Figure 1. The driver information is automatically set by the script. You can modify the installer and flash. You'll find this file in the %GRUB_DIR% directory. I set the version to 2.00b so the script will automatically install GRUB2. This is a good example of how to script the installation and use of GRUB2. After the installation finishes, a dialog box will be displayed. Click Save to save the settings. This is shown in Figure 2. Figure 1 Figure 2 Figure 3 The script should work fine with your hardware. Make sure to include the GRUB_DIR environmental variable. Before you run the script, make sure to install your new OS. After installation, you need to make sure the next OS is bootable. If you have more than one operating system, you'll want to boot the one you want to use first. If you want the GRUB screen to show up, click the Advanced button. This is shown in Figure 3. You'll see the GRUB screen as shown in Figure 4. Figure 3 Figure 4 Figure 5 The script is designed to work with GRUB2. If you use another bootloader, the screen shown in Figure 4 will appear. Figure 5 If you don't use GRUB2, you'll see a gray screen with no text. You can fix that using these commands. Note, if you're not familiar with using these commands, it's a good idea to have a Linux system available. If you're running Windows, you'll need a Linux Live CD for these commands. That's because most of these commands can't be run in Windows. In addition, some of these commands require access to the GRUB command line. Here is a list of commands you can use to fix the screen in the case where the GRUB screen isn't being displayed. The commands shown here are for GRUB2, but many are used
